Due to the recent centralisation of the IT function, we are now looking for a number of IT Project Managers to be responsible for the definition, documentation and safe execution of multiple small, medium and large-scale projects, actively participating in all delivery phases. Accordingly, you will identify, assess and manage risks to the success of the project and effectively estimate costs, timescales and resource requirements.
You will develop and implement appropriate quality, project, risk and financial plans, against which the project can be effectively monitored and delivered in line with, agreed costs, timescales and quality objectives. You will report progress, formalise the acceptance of the project or phase and bring it to an orderly completion.
Acting as an interface between relevant project teams, you will be responsible for delivering value through deployment of IT projects into the business usually based on configured, off-the-shelf, packaged solutions.
You will ensure that realistic project and quality plans are prepared and maintained and track all activities against the plan, providing regular and accurate reports to stakeholders, as appropriate. Responsible for managing the change control procedure, you will ensure that agreement for revisions to the relevant projects is gained. You will ensure effective relationships are built and maintained with stakeholders and be able to report to all levels up to and including Director.
Qualifications and experience
You will be degree qualified or equivalent and will have a formal certification in project management. You will have extensive experience managing development/configuration, test and deployment of IT Solutions using 3rd Party suppliers.
You will have a demonstrable track record of delivering high value, complex, multi national IT projects coupled with sound experience of information technology. Experience of working with third party outsourced suppliers is advantageous.
You will have experience of Structured Project Delivery Methods and a membership of PMI or APM. You will have experience of delivery within a Global organisation and you will have experience of high value complex projects.
