Key Job responsibilities:
Contribute creative content ideas for ASOS's international sites and our global Marketing campaigns across all our platforms. These should always have the needs and behaviours of our twenty-something audience at their heart
Writing engaging, sharable content for our social channels that will resonate with our twenty-something audience
Ensure editorial ideas support the wider business plans and succeed in engaging our audience, inspiring and empowering them to shop
Work with all editorial teams and be aware of broader department editorial schedules to help ensure ASOS editorial is a 360 degree experience whenever possible across email & newsletters, site features, social, magazine and market place
Work with the retail department to consistently put the most relevant consumer spin on the biggest stories in our shop and coordinate and deliver compelling content and campaigns. Ensure these are published on time by writing and shooting content to schedule. Be aware of any retail and merchandise changes
Be aware of homepage and newsletter reports, identify the bigger seasonal shopping habits and take actions based on these insights.
Understand SEO principles and keep abreast of online publishing developments
Ensure highest quality editorial content on ASOS by employing the greatest attention to detail, applying a meticulous approach
Support editorial department by deputising for senior members of the team during holiday and annual leave periods

You will be a fashion fanatic with an in-exhaustible appetite for catwalk, high street and shopping trends as well as have an avid interest in the inspiring individuals who make up the fashion and beauty industries.
Experience in creating engaging, fun and highly sharable social content is essential
You must be able to prioritise and be calm under pressure.
Exceptional organisational, administrative and communication skills are key to this role, as is the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Dedication and ambition for the brand is essential.
Substantial prior experience in fashion writing for a digital publisher
Strong experience in self-subbing and search optimisation of copy
A strong knowledge and background in fashion and beauty
Experience using a CMS
Experience in editing merchandise for product trend galleries
A keen eye for spotting the latest, up and coming trends relevant to our audience
An awareness of the women’s editorial fashion landscape is essential
Knowledge of the factors that contribute to making a successful online fashion media destination
Ability to use analytical tools to monitor site KPIs eg. Nedstat and Google Analytics
