We are on the lookout for a friendly and helpful person to join our Maternity Inpatient Receptionist team in the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson wing of UCLH Hospital. This role involves providing reception services to patients attending the department, accurately recording patient information and seeking additional information as required, and supporting the administrative team to provide a positive patient experience.

This means that we are not only looking for someone who is competent. We are also looking for someone who will make patients and visitors at ease and comfortable, who can carry out the Trusts values (see job description for more information on these), who can empathise with patients when appropriate, and who can communicate effectively with patients, visitors and with other staff.

Throughout the application process we will be looking for examples of reliable candidates, who are able to solve problems and have a good understanding of excellent customer service.

The team works on a monthly rota, meaning that flexibility is very important. Also, this role requires working night shifts, at weekends and over bank-holidays.

Visit http://www.uclh.nhs.uk/wwus/whatweoffer/Pages/Home.aspx for more information about the advantages of working for UCLH. These include: learning and development opportunities, staff discounts, childcare and staff health programmes, and much more, as well working for one of the best Trusts in the country!
