Job Title : Account Manager, Named Accounts
Salary: Â£68K Basic plus Â£102K, Â£170K OTE uncapped plus car allowance

Our client, a Global leader in IT is investing millions of dollars in software products in 2011 and is looking for a Business Development Account Director, Enterprise Accounts who will primarily be responsible for acquiring new business from existing and targeted Accounts. You will work closely with your Customer base covering the UK for key Global Accounts in the FG1000. Ideally you will have an excellent new business sales record in direct sales with 10+ years experience in a solution`s oriented Data Centre Software sales role. Ideally you will have IT network management software experience or similar and will have a consistent track record of achieving sales targets or exceeding Quota. Selling into the Data centre or grid computing for super computing centres of very large Data Centre space into the financial markets, media, e-commerce etc and colocation Data Centre hosting etc would be ideal for this challenge.
Ability to open and manage full sales life cycle and close deals directly in complex long sales cycles, 6-18 months.
Owning revenue quota and driving sales wins into large accounts and FG1000 etc.
Close deals at ideally a minimum level of Â£600K+.
Build own pipeline of various prospects & deals to close Â£1m - Â£3m p/a.
Build/maintain relationship with key customers and possibly Systems Integrators and inspire new business opportunities and relationships, managing approximately 30 Accounts.
Responsible for accurately forecasting, updating sales records etc on CRM ie on salesforce.com
Running regular Bids, sales reports on opportunities & closing business pipeline per Q.
Devliver high level sales presentations to the `C` level decision makers.
Excellent presentation skills with technical Data Centre experience or IT Infrastructure Software Management.
Management level to sell Solutions for RFPs, ITTs, RFIs etc to build business cases with customers, and create ROI etc.
Experience in Data Centre Solutions or similar, addressing issues, IT Green Policy, carbon footprint etc.
Ability to penetrate accounts at Executive level, `C` or Director level with multi-level selling experience.
Competence to work as part of a virtual team with Technical Consultants, Marketing, Professional Services etc and create a need for the customer at initial meetings.
Ability to follow through and meet deadlines, keeping all prospects tracked and manage full sales life cycle for multiple customers.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with thought leadership style to understand customers pain points and provide a solution.
