Dennis Publishing, a privately owned media company is seeking a pro-active Recruitment Coordinator to join its HR team for an initial period of six (6) months. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a creative business alongside individuals who are extremely passionate about their brands and people.
Reporting to the HR Manager this role is ideally suited to someone who thrives on finding the right person for the job, enjoys the challenges of in-house resourcing and who is keen to develop and implement recruitment initiatives in accordance with the ongoing (and rapidly changing) business needs.
You will consider yourself to be a recruitment focussed professional with excellent communication skills, the confidence to deal with individuals of all management levels and already have experience in recruitment administration. The ability to prioritise and organise is essential as is being detailed orientated and having good IT and internet research skills. Experience or knowledge of using social media to recruit is extremely desirable.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Being the main point of contact for all hiring managers creating job specifications & setting salary rates as required
Coordinating & monitoring all recruitment activity, tracking & managing responses in a pro-active manner
Advertising vacancies internally, externally, on-line or via social media in accordance with the company recruitment policy
Negotiating costs with third parties to ensure efficient control of recruitment spend
Creating and implementing new, practical yet cost effective methods of recruitment which will deliver viable recruitment solutions to the business
Utilising social media opportunities to recruit talent into the company; for example using Linked-In and Twitter
Creating a centralised candidate database to ensure that CV’s are managed and used effectively to maintain the flow of information between hiring managers across all divisions of the company
Screening CVs, sending shortlists to hiring managers & coordinating interviews (if appropriate)
Participating in panel interviews and the recruitment selection process (if appropriate)
Analysing and reporting of all recruitment-related metrics
