STDL are the market leader in power transmission projects in the UK. We work in partnership with all the major utilities to implement innovative engineering solutions to extend and refurbish electricity substations.

We are looking for Design Engineers across the following skill sets:
Primary Design
Control and Protection
SCADA
HVDC
AC and DC Hardware Design
Electrical and Mechanical Auxiliary Systems
In this role you will be responsible for the design of transmission substations, including the design of substation layouts and cross sections – experience of this is essential. As this is a project-based environment you will also attend technical meetings with the client where a good client facing, professional manner is essential.
