This new venture set up by an established Partnership looks to expand on their established catering business which provides a small a la carte menu, sandwiches & canapés service to high profile businesses situated in the West End & City areas.
Due to relocate to a larger, 16,000 sq ft purpose built production kitchen in the Waterloo area, all food is freshly prepared on a daily basis and couriered to various businesses by 11.00am.
Additional Events will also be catered for and will include high profile media / product launches, private parties & corporate hospitality.
Supported by a Sous Chef and with a brigade of 4, you will in charge of day to day running of the production operation.
Preparation & packaging of food orders
Stock control: ordering, supplier liaison, deliveries, invoices, wastage control, GP calculation
Rotas, recruitment, training, briefings, job chats & disciplinaries
Due diligence: Hygiene, H&S records & procedures, cleaning rosters
Management meetings with Partners
Min of 10 yrs experience at Snr Chef level gained working within quality, high volume Restaurant / Brasserie establishments and / or Events / Production operations
Genuine passion & ability to cook at 2AA Rosette
Ability to deliver quality & consistency in a pressured working environment
Motivating leadership style
Up to date on Hygiene legislation
Salary & Benefits
£32,500 Basic Start Salary & 10% of Events Sales
3 Months Probationary Period: Regular Performance Related Salary Reviews
Working Hours: 7.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday (some flexibility required)
