The role will involve analysis, design, build, customisation and deployment of SQL-based solutions as well as supporting customers in resolving issues or expanding existing solutions. Projects may ground-up or built around one of our finance-centredapplication platforms , and will be based upon data handling, reporting and analysis. There will be the opportunity to work directly with clients and to contribute towards development products and development frameworks. Your experience ought toencompass these areas: * Solid SQL Server development in SQL Server 2005/2008 * Preferably experience in at least one of SSIS, SSAS or Reporting Services * A background of finance-related projects or in the financial-services sector The successfulcandidate may also have as a bonus: * C#/VB.NET * Experience in mixed support/development environments * End-user/client-facing experience * The ability to deliver data through front-end platforms in technologies such as Silverlight, Excel Services orSharePoint The role is likely to appeal to someone with largely a SQL database development background who wishes to utilise client-facing consulting skills. Salary: £35-45K
