A Marketing Communications & Brands Specialist is required to support the Northern European Operations of our client who provide Global Commercial and Industrial Property Insurance, Engineering-driven underwriting and Risk management solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a an experienced Marketeer with a background in Marcomms and Brand Management who enjoys working as part of a Corporate EMEA team.
As a Marketing Communications and Brand Specialist you will provide specific marketing support to the Northern European operation whilst also contributing towards cross-border marketing and communications projects.
Managing the delivery of an integrated communication plan with a particular focus on advertising, direct marketing, digital channels, PR, trade shows and exhibitions.
Managing the communications mix based upon identified target audiences and objectives.
Ensuring communications are fully integrated across the marketing vehicles.
Liaising with external agencies, translating client requirements into communication strategies.
Co-ordinating speaker requests to provide platforms for experts to speak before important audiences.
Liaising with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the positive representation of the company.
Counsel and provide other communications internally to various departments, business units and committees throughout the organisation.
Key skills required:
Degree calibre with CIM or Business/marketing related qualification.
Experience in a corporate or agency environment with demonstrable experience in marketing communications, marketing planning implementation and evaluation.
Financial Services or Insurance Industry experience.
Previous experience of working within the network of a Global organisation ideally with specific European Country experience.
Experience of managing outside third party suppliers and vendors.
Strong project management skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluent English essential, additional languages advantageous.
Flexibility for occasional travel to Europe.
