This is an ideal first step into the advertising industry in a role combining client contact, account administration, media liaison and design.
Job Description
Reporting to the Account Manager you will be responsible for the administration surrounding recruitment advertising both on and off line and deputise for the Account Manager during periods of absence.
Print Adverts
Setting of 'house style’ adverts using InDesign on the Mac.
Preparing ads ready for the Account Manager to send to the client.
Actioning any amends received either from internal proof reading or client.
Preparing adverts for transmission.
Sending artwork via email or using Adfast.
Online Adverts
Preparing approved text ready for uploading on to websites.
Uploading adverts or sending text to site for uploading.
Checking live advert appears as it should and updating Account Manager, or contacting site with amends and ensuring corrections are actioned.
Other responsibilities
Covering the Account Manager in periods of absence (meetings, days off etc).
Ensuring invoiced ads are filed regularly.
Managing the media library.
Any other tasks required by the team.
Person Specification
We’re looking for someone educated to A Level or equivalent, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a natural affinity with excellent customer service. A high level of organisation and prioritisation is vital, and the ability to use your own initiative.
We need excellent PC skills including Word and Excel and ideally Mac knowledge, preferably InDesign.
