Castlerock Recruitment are currently searching for experienced and competent Healthcare Assistants to complete work at a medical centre within Tidworth, Wiltshire.
Examples of work performed
Provision of general basic nursing care under supervision of the practice nurse team leader undertaking tasks and duties delegated by a suitably qualified regulated professional. Provision of administrative support as required within competencies. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, following policy and procedures alongside nurses and administrative staff in the service and delivery of the care management of the practice population. To assist the MOs and practice nurse teams within Primary Health Care clinics, Occupational Health assessment clinics, chronic disease clinics, health promotion.
Clinical measurements, visual acuity, venepuncture, ECG, urinalysis and preparation of specimens, understanding of infection control. Effective communicator with other team members and patients.
Essential
Basic literacy and numeracy skills
NVQ Level 2 in health care or have the equivalent experience
Medical Devices Competencies, Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training, Basic Life Support and Manual Handling Training.
Desirable
Previous experience of working with MOD.
Chaperone training.
Basic computer skills.
Audiometry
First Aid certification
