Working within Strategic Property Services, you will be responsible for all day to day management for a key portfolio of properties within the Council's Commercial Estate, including lettings, sales and rent reviews. You will additionally be a key contributor to a review of the estate, seeking the balance between maximum revenue income to the Council, and the role the estate plays in the development of the local economy.
Other services that will benefit from your expertise will range from highways, planning, land drainage through to community services as well as assisting as appropriate with corporate disposals and rural estate management.
Applications are invited from individuals that are MRICS qualified with five years or more PQE. You should demonstrate a good understanding of commercial landlord and tenant law, have an excellent customer focus and commnunication skills, and be someone who enjoys challenging the norm, innovating and problem solving.
Your work base will initially be Shurnhold in Melksham which boasts plenty of off road parking, moving over to the newly refurbished County Hall complex in Trowbridge which offers free on-site parking but also is just a short walk away from the local train station. A park and ride service is also available from Trowbridge to Shurnhold if required.

You will be required to undertake driving as part of your duties. You will be required to produce your original driving licence as part of the selection process as well as agree to a live DVLA licence check.
