We are currently recruiting for a Group Account Director for a very reputable and award winning Agency in Manchester City Centre.

Job Description

Key functions: To clearly identify and pursue new business opportunities for the organisation in conjunction with the Business Development Director To prepare pitch proposals and present alongside the Business Development Director To manage multiple accounts and two or more account teams To anticipate client needs and exceed client expectations for all ongoing projects and new business opportunities at all times To manage and facilitate client entertainment as required To produce accurate sales forecasting on a weekly basis and provide a monthly report to the Client Services Director To demonstrate a clear understanding of Integrated Brand Communications - the aims and main objectives of the Business To provide strategic and tactical direction to a team of Account Managers on a daily basis To attend weekly meetings with the Senior Management team to discuss all current client related matters Continually strengthen and forge excellent client relationships through proactive directorship and communication including face to face meetings, telephone, conference call and email communication.

Person Specification

Key competencies: Experience in marketing and client management. An understanding of integrated communications is essential. Experience of setting/managing high level client expectations, managing large high profile projects. Growing and managing an effective team A detailed and analytical approach to researching and analysing opportunities to increase revenue Commercial awareness. Excellent report-writing, analytical and project management skills with acute attention to detail Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions
