We are currently recruiting for a HR Assistant for a period of 9 months to cover maternity cover.

Our client operates within EMEA markets and is a leader within their field. They are currently seeking a HR Assistant who will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and professional HR assistant service to the HR Manager and employees. This is a full generalist position with and covers a broad range of areas including operations, recruitment, starters/leavers, reporting as well as providing basic advice and guidance.

Typical duties include:
 Ensures that all aspects of the recruitment administration process are completed efficiently. This will involve liaising with agencies, drafting advertisements, arranging interviews, advising unsuccessful candidates.
 To produce contractual information and offer packs.
 Develop with the Human Resources Manager a HR database and then be responsible for inputting data and manipulating the database, ensuring the provision of accurate and relevant management information in support of decision making processes.
 Process starters, leavers, probations, promotions, changes to employee circumstances, references in line with Company procedures.
 Produce monthly statistical HR reports.
 Update organisational charts.
 Provide induction for new employees.
 Accurately maintain manual personnel files in a confidential manner.
 To answer general enquires by telephone within the department as necessary.
 Answer a wide range of queries, both from external and internal sources eg references including financial.
 Administer the benefits schemes including pension, healthcare and awards.
 Record all absences and produce absence reports.
 Assist in general events such as salary review process and performance management.
 Produce general correspondence relating to disciplinary, grievance, redundancy or other HR matters as required.
 Maintain the staff handbook, Human Resources policies and procedures as requested by the Human Resources Manager.
 Review administration processes and methods of working to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the department and implement changes on approval by the Human Resources Manager.
 Undertake ad-hoc projects as required.

It is essential that the job holder will have experience of all aspects of Human Resources administration life-cycle, have a high level of professional credibility and be able to deal confidently and confidentially at all levels, have excellent communications skills, verbal and written, with experience of drafting business correspondence.
