Role Purpose:
Apprenticeship role to create and implement designs for web pages, email, mobile sites, online advertising and other projects as required across the portfolio of more than 30 live websites across Europe. This role is principally a visual and graphic design role working in a close team of designers with different strengths and backgrounds and offers a great opportunity to develop commercial web design experience in a major eCommerce organisation.
Design functionality to deliver against provided business requirements, working with product managers and web developers to create and refine optimal design
Ensure that the user interface designs fulfil the business requirements and that the architecture supports them
Create and design graphic elements to support email and online promotional purposes
Support for projects/work streams in the absence of other creative team members
Help obtain business stakeholder buy-in for the proposed designs
Meet the objectives and performance goals as defined in the business requirements document. Ensure that other team members understand the implications of functional and usability requirements.
Ensure designs are brand compliant, confirming to the overall TC group and individual brand identity and strategy, which could include logos, icons, and documents and other asset templates.

Excellent understanding of web usability, accessibility and email best practice
Extensive experience designing pages for a significant consumer e-commerce presence
Proven track record of using data to drive design
First-hand experience with usability testing of designs
Desirable:
Design background in online travel preferred
