An experienced senior manager is needed to support three sites across East Surrey, supporting a large staff team and services for children aged 0 to 15 yrs who attend the centres.

You will need to be an experienced senior manager who has worked in early years at management level, financial acumen, marketing, staff recruitment and supporting large settings and teams are essential

Your role will be extensive - working closely with the CEO and Operations Manager to manage, support and deliver a programme of high quality playschemes, recreational activity, family support and short breaks that help children and young people with disabilities or who are vulnerable or facing disadvantage to develop to their full potential, and to ensure services are inclusive and accessible to all children regardless of ability.

You will be responsible for the line management of senior managers, responsible for their appraisal, training and development. For the recruitment and development of suitable teams of voluntary and paid staff for each area of work and to ensure that all Children's services staff undergo monthly one to one supervision and annual staff appraisals, identifying any staff training needs. You will work closely with the CEO to draw up an annual budget for the Children's Services Dept and to manage this budget throughout the year.

Working with the Operations Manager to ensure that the health and safety of children, staff and volunteers involved with Children Services Department are properly addressed through the implementation of appropriate policies and procedures. Ensuring that all provision meets quality standards laid down by Ofsted.
