Job Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
The Graduate Hydrogeologist will provide support to intermediate and senior levels within the hydrogeology group of the Natural Resources Technical Team.
They will be responsible for the delivery of tasks including:
- Field work in the UK and abroad, typically on projects in the power, waste, mining and manufacturing sectors to include monitoring, supervision of borehole drilling and monitoring well installation, aquifer testing and other field tasks as required
- Collation and quality management of environmental and geotechnical data
- Achieving and maintaining a chargeability of 85%
- Factual reporting of field data and site condition.
The Graduate Hydrogeologist will be based in our Edinburgh office. On a day to day basis they will work either in the office or in the field as required. Field deployments may either be in the UK or for periods of up to 1 month overseas (although on occasion longer durations may be required).

Essential
- M.Sc. Hydrogeology
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Proven reporting skills
- Enthusiasm
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Must be prepared to travel and work away from home
- Evidence of computer literacy (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)

- Membership of a relevant professional organisation
- Experience of international travel
