Checking the costing and integrity of holiday bookings
Inputting client holiday information onto the in-house computer system
Processing payments for holidays
Compiling and ensuring dispatch of ticket packages
Preparing and sending confirmation packages
Answering client e-mail or telephone enquiries efficiently and professionally
Making changes/amendments to bookings as required
. Actioning room and flight upgrades as required
. Actioning pre-departure courtesy calls as required
. Pre-departure customer recovery due to flight/resort changes
Regular updating of client files
Ensuring efficient filing of all client information and correspondence
Credit Control - keeping track of, chasing overdue payments and producing a weekly debtors
report
. Booking cancellations
Preparing weekly accommodation lists to send to overseas bases and advise on a regular basis
Ensuring all bases and clubs are kept informed of late bookings and amendments to bookings
Processing and checking insurance and booking reports
To liaise with overseas staff as necessary
Ensuring area information on the internet is kept up to date via Product Champions
Any other duties as required by reporting line to ensure the effective and efficient administration of
the holiday booking process.
Assist with overflowed sales calls as required
What We're Looking For
Previous administrative experience
The ability to focus on and have excellent attention to detail.
PC literacy is essential with experience of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
Good organisational skills
Experience in a Sales/Customer service environment would be an advantage.
Hours of work
An average 38.75 hour week with shift as per rota to support business opening hours. Starting at 0845 Monday to Saturday for a team briefing and up to 2 weekends per month Saturday 08.45 - 17.30 and Sunday 10.00-16.00 TUI Travel PLC - 11 months ago
