Project Director (Commercial High Rise City of London)

COMPANY

A well established international building contractor who have a long standing history in the London construction market. They have the ability to deliver schemes in sectors as diverse as education, healthcare, roads, bridges and stadia. Typicall project values will range from £15 through to schemes in excess of £200m.

RESPONSIBILITIES ·

• Resource works appropriately and drive capability and performance within project team
• Promote and adhere to through visible leadership the company's Health & Safety Policy and Procedure
• Training and development of supervisory and operational employees to ensure the accurate availability of competent staff
• Ensure line managers aware of key issues and solutions
• Develop and maintain relationships with all relevant stake holders, including client representatives, supply chain and local authorities
• Provision of reports and management information to senior management and client
• Completion of Projects to the required quality
• Full responsibility for project budget, costs, cash flow and margin
• Manage contractual issues arising with client and sub contractors
• Produce and own and execute the project to the contract programme
• Lead and provide suitable bid support at tender stage
