A GIS Developer is required to assist with the development, support and maintenance of desktop and web based GIS applications. The role will involve all areas of the development lifecycle and require delivery as per specifications provided by the Project and Business Analyst teams. It will also involve liaising with third party suppliers of GIS applications and ISG to ensure compatibility with the internal GIS architecture and the Technical Support and DBA Teams to manage the GIS Infrastructure. The suitable candidate will be required to liaise with the other team members to ensure the efficient running of the ArcSDE Oracle database and advise on relevant emerging GIS technology.

The suitable candidate will have extensive experience in the development of ESRI GIS applications, using ArcIMS technology; be familiar with GIS hardware infrastructures using Windows and UNIX machines and have strong skills in HTML, ASP, VB, XML, .NET, AJAX, ArcIMS and ArcObjects.Conex Europe Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
