Title - Sales and Marketing Executive

This is a multifunctional sales role for a self-motivated and proactive individual. Experience in identifying and developing new business from new accounts as well as managing existing accounts is key but most important is the right attitude and personality in order to achieve. Naturally a high degree of numeracy is a requirement but also attention to detail and a high degree of professionalism in presentation and communication.
You will also be required to maintain a strong presence on social networking sites such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, updating these with vendor news, promotions etc.
Experience in maintaining and developing websites is a plus, but not essential
Qualified candidates will work with customers to shorten the sales cycle by overcoming obstacles within specified accounts. Candidates must demonstrate solid communication skills, sales ability and be able to work both independently and within a team. The role may also include some travel within the U.K.
Lead Generation - Telesales will be a core element and targets will be set on a group performance basis, databases will be provided but it is also expected that this individual will use other sources of contacts such as competitor websites, trade news and by developing industry contacts for leads.
Account Management - Where resellers have been signed up, it is essential to establish a close relationship in order to be aware of new projects and opportunities and then position our clients vendors most effectively.
Reviewing and interpreting customer requirements and needs on virtual desktop deployment plans and specifications.
The ability to present the benefits of Application Virtualisation products and thin client products on a telesales and face to face basis.
Working with Value Added Resellers (VAR).
Working with the Channel Sales and Marketing manager on specified accounts.
Excellent organizational, customer service and communication skills.
Direct sales experience is essential.
Self-starter that manages time and activities with little day-to-day guidance or interaction from management.
Excellent listening skills resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction. Must be able to listen for opportunities as well as potential technical barriers.
Knowledge of IT and particularly Virtualisation technologies would be an advantage but not essential as product training will be given.
