As the post-holder, you will work under the guidance of the Cook/Manager in the preparation of meals for tenants, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the Kitchen area. In absence of Catering Delivery Assistant but depending on skills, provide cover during holiday and sickness.
To succeed you should have a good knowledge of general kitchen skills. An awareness of Health and Safety and understanding of basic cleaning practices, equipment and products (including COSHH regulations), is also essential. You will have a good influencing skills and ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of residents while working under pressure.
