Our client is a specialist manufacturing company and due to expansion they are looking to recruit a Machine Shop Machinist / Toolmaker. You will work as part of a small team within the R & D workshop, to develop and manufacture machine parts and work on the assembly and testing of newly designed or modified machines.
As a CNC Machine Shop Machinist - Toolmaker you will be expected to perform the following duties:
Milling
Turning
Surface Grinding
CNC Machining
EDM Spark erosion / wire erosion
Machinery assembly
Health & Safety
As a CNC Machine Shop Machinist you should have the following Experience / Qualifications:
GCSE English & Mathematics grade C or above / equivalent
IT excel (basic) word (basic level) lotus notes
Time served apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Ability to be a creative problem solver
