WHAT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR JOB INVOLVES
The Customer Service Advisor role with UNITE is a varied and challenging one where no one day is the same.
As a Customer Service Advisor, working within a friendly and supportive team you will be playing a vital role in ensuring that customers living in our properties have a great experience.
Based in the property, providing a front of house service, dealing with our customers face to face and over the phone, you will be building up strong relationships from day one - managing queries, finding solutions and some times resolving complaints. There are also varied administration duties to keep you busy such as using our online booking system, processing customer accounts, managing spreadsheets, filing and handling finance processes.
You won`t be on your own - as well as the rest of the customer service team, you will work closely with colleagues in security, facilities, house keeping and other internal departments to make sure that our customers` safety, welfare and satisfaction are at the centre of everything we do.
So, if you`re looking for a career where you can be customer focused, results driven, work on your initiative and have fun doing it, you`ve come to the right place.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
A genuine passion for customer service is the most important quality we look for. Although you may not have worked in the property sector before, you will have had experience in a customer facing job, maybe as a receptionist or in retail or hospitality.
It`s really important to us that you thrive on understanding, empathising and delivering against customer needs and are able to communicate effectively with people, remaining professional, courteous, friendly and calm in all situations.
With so many customers and such a variety of work the environment is fast paced and exciting, so we will need to know that you are able to work at pace, whilst still maintaining a high level of accuracy in everything you do. It`s also crucial that you are a first class team player who enjoys supporting colleagues and working together to achieve goals.
Our administrative processes are really important too, so we will look for you to have had experience of administrative duties before. Although we will provide you with support and training on our systems and processes, you will need to be a comfortable and confident user of IT systems such as Microsoft Office and Outlook.
UNITE Group PLC is an equal opportunities employer and we welcome people of all ages, ethnicities, religions or sexual orientations. We`re only interested in your talent, your potential and your personality and in offering you an environment where all three can develop and grow - regardless of your background.
