We are currently looking for a Software Developer with strong experience of C# and .Net development to take on a challenging role with a well-established support services company, who specialise in managing complex infrastructure and assets.
The Developer will be involved in designing and implementing server-based applications for software solutions using Microsoft technologies with Oracle as the back-end database.
Duration: Permanent
Location: Leicester
Salary: Approximately £37k
Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience coding server-based applications using visual studio with .net framework using c#.
- Extensive experience in BACK END development
- Experience writing communications interfaces to external systems using protocols such as TCP/IP,
- Experience working within airports, warehouses, factories or within logistics will be a distinct advantage.
- Experience of service side development.
- The candidate should confidently write, test and debug critical code.
- Will lead a number of small teams
Training and Technical Skills desired:
- Formal training using designing software using UML processes.
- At least 3 years experience in designing and coding server based applications using Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010 with .Net framework 2.0, 3.5 using C#.
- SQL - PL SQL, Oracle, .Net development, backend development
