Business Analysts. GIS Systems. Asset Management. Contract. East / West Sussex.
We are currently seeking 2 experienced Business Analysts to work on the upgrade / replacement of the current GIS system. The GIS system is currently used in two different streams, firstly as a Corporate Back Office system and also as a Mobile GIS Front Office system.
Each analyst will be assigned to one of the systems and under the guidance of the Project Manager you will required to produce a Business requirements Specification detailing the requirements for the replacement system.. You will become a key member of the IT team and on the appointment of the IT supplier it is likely that you will then be retained for the implementation of this major project.
Ideally, you will be experienced in the Utilities sector or a UK Regulated Industry and be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills gained in a complex business and technical environment. Previous experience to GIS systems would be beneficial as would experience of working on projects relating to Customer Service and Asset Management.
It is also desirable that you have a wide ranging knowledge of IT systems with an emphasis of IT Package Applications and be prepared to undertake the preparation of test scripts and subsequent testing.
This will be an initial 3 month contract which could then extend further long term period of up to 9 months.
