Our client, a construction and services company, requires a (Job title) to assist with an increase in workload.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- Project managing of Building Services design projects within buildings, which involves the completion of the following tasks:
- Assist the engineers within the team to achieve their project targets.
- Support the Associate and Associate Director to achieve their business objectives
- Site Surveys
- Analysis and development of brief
- Production of Reports, Calculations, Specifications and Drawings
- Represent the M&E team at Client, Design Team and Contractor Meetings
- Monitoring of Progress and Quality on site
- Production of information to agreed time scales and quality
- Understand and implement the requirements of statutory regulations and guidance.
- Completing the design of heating systems, hot and cold water services, drainage, sustainable design solutions, natural and mechanical ventilation design and air conditioning systems, utility design/liaison.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
At least 5 years working within a building services consultancy.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Hours: 37.5 per week (8.30-17.00)
Must be prepared to travel
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:
- It is expected that the applicants will have one or more of the following qualifications:
- Degree in engineering - minimum 2:1
- Member of either CIBSE or IMechE with a view to obtaining Chartered engineer status in the future.
PREFERABLE EDUCATION
- Master degree in building services engineering or mechanical engineering
