Basic Purpose of Job:
Accountable to the Engineering Manager for ensuring that all Technical Safety work is technically robust and delivered in a cost effective and timely manner.

Main Duties:
The position will require the successful candidate to undertake the following roles & responsibilities:-

Provide supervision, direction and support for all Technical Safety discipline engineering personnel.
Develop and maintain a Technical Safety team structure to provide a scalable resource base to meet project demands across a range of platforms.
Develop and maintain the Technical Safety work plans as an integral element of overall project plans and ensure delivery against the plans.
Provide first point consultancy to the team for Technical Safety Screenings and to include loss prevention studies, process hazard reviews, process hazard analyses, risk assessment studies, firewater studies, Safety Integrity Level determinations, liaising with specialist consultants as required.
Promote and develop continuous improvement in all Technical Safety activities for the overall benefit of project delivery.
Ensure that all Technical Safety work complies with the management system and that technical integrity standards are maintained.
Monitor Technical Safety discipline performance and develop discipline business improvement plans.
