Job purpose:
Responsible for the Project Management of Subsea Projects in a safe and efficient manner and to the satisfaction of the company and client.

Job scope (budget, management, specific criteria):
Safely and efficiently deliver Projects to both Client and Company satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with Company Operating and Financial Procedures within Projects.
Meet or exceed Project Profit targets (and where set, stretch target).
Efficiently manage and secure Tenders with the support of Business Development.
Co-ordinate and communicate with the Project Directors and other Project Managers to maximize the effectiveness of the Projects Organisation.
Facilitate the career development of Project Team members.
Typical background and experience required: Must have:
HNC equivalent or above in Engineering or Science based discipline.
Previous project management experience i.e. Assistant Project Manager, Tendering Manager or relevant business experience.
Computer literacy skills.
Current Offshore Survival and Medical.
Willingness to accept responsibility when delegated.
Proven leadership skills.
Ability to work well within a team.
Good communication and workload management skills.
Adherence to QHSE rules on Site.
Nice to have:
Degree and Professional membership of recognised institute.
Subsea Engineering and Subsea offshore construction experience.
Project management experience.
Main accountabilities:
Management of all aspects of the project – onshore and offshore.
Ensure compliance with company Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies, procedures and reporting requirements.
Meet or exceed agreed completion dates and client specific deliverables.
Financial management and contractual control of projects, in line with company standards and procedures.
Ensure that all material risks in tenders or projects are identified, assessed & recorded in the RMS Project Risk register and that mitigation plans are formulated, pursued and documented in a timely manner, to a clear conclusion. This shall include regularly updating the risk status in the RMS.
Secure and manage all necessary project resources.
Manage, lead and develop the Human Resources with the Project Team. In conjunction with Project Directors and the HR department ensure that appropriate training programmes are in place.
Establish annual performance measures and key objectives for project team members.
Complete period review and annual performance appraisal as per current company systems.
Manage all internal and external third party interfaces. Interface with subcontractor personnel and ensure that subcontractors are advised of, and provide, the correct level of reporting to meet Technip procedures.
Liaise with the Planning department to ensure all plans accurately reflect up to date project status.
Liaise where necessary with other Technip departments or entities in accordance with current procedures.
Produce consolidated Project Close out reports to provide lessons learned feedback.
Allocate personnel for conducting engineering, technical and operations reviews with all projects.
Ensure that feedback on subcontractor performance is completed via First Point Assessment.
Ensure compliance within the project team with all business system procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting of company assets.
Lead all accident/incident investigations in consultation with relevant QHSES entity.
Participate in mobilisation/demobilization briefings and where possible visit to worksite during the operational phase.
Adherence to administration procedures e.g. Time card, PMT holiday planning.
Ensure that prior to any project operations, that all necessary actions have been closed out and plans are in place as required by current procedures and regulations.
