Security Manager - Hatfield
Europa manage the cleaning and security divisions at our clients premises in Hatifeld. We now require a Security Manager to join our team. You will already hold an SIA licence or equivalent and be able to work 40 hours per week, on a rota basis.
As the Security Manager you will lead the Security Teams work to ensure the safe running of the building.
The Security Team ensures exemplary standards of security and customer service are provided to the client and visitors at all times. You will be the public face of the security team and will therefore play an influential role in the success of our contract.
The key responsibilities for the Security Manager role are:
To understand client requirements and provide security solutions to meet and exceed needs and contribute to customer objectives.
Manage the security budget and maximise the utilisation of internal manpower resources whilst minimising dependency on use of agency staff.
To ensure compliance with all statutory and relevant company and client policies.
To ensure that the Continuous Improvement Process is an integral part of service delivery increasingly adding value to both the business and our client.
To continuously review and introduce best practice into the Security and Customer Services Team.
To own and deliver the range of security services required to meet / exceed the customer requirements and add valued support to the management and delivery of the operational services.
Full operational HR responsibilities to lead, recruit, retain, develop and integrate the control room team. Promote the 'one team’ concept.
To manage the people resources effectively and efficiently to deliver the required services.
To set objectives for direct reports and review quarterly. Ensure same approach and mechanisms for all staff within area of responsibility.
The successful Security Manager will have:
A successful track record of delivering solutions to internal client base
Substantial operational security supervision experience.
As SIA licence - guarding or door supervision. Dual licensed with CCTV would be advantageous.
Highly developed influencing skills and a successful track record of supervising a team.
Substantial experience in the supervision of people, including selection and training,
Experience within teams where motivation and development have been key drivers.
Experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams and a proven ability to lead teams effectively
