Here at RPS, we are currently seeking an experienced Leak Detection Area Manager, working on our Severn Trent Water contract, based in Birmingham .
Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide line management, leadership and supervision to a team of leak detection Technicians; Ensure that appropriate standards are maintained and to drive performance; Provide technical leak detection campaign management and leak detection support as and when required; Ensure that records and management information data are kept up to date and are accurate; Ensure that routine management activities are carried out effectively and efficiently. We are looking for an Area Manager with the following attributes:
Substantial experience and competence in the application of leak detection techniques in the field; Significant experience of leading teams of leak detection Technicians and maintaining standards; IT literate, with the ability to use standard office applications and bespoke client applications to a good standard; Excellent communication skills. The following additional attributes would also be advantageous:
A line management or supervisory qualification; NVQ level 3 in Leak Detection; Current National Water Hygiene card; Current NRSWA unit 2/unit 10.
