Job Summary:
We are working with our client, a leading environmental and engineering consultancy, to recruit both a Consultant and a Senior level EIA specialist into their Manchester multi-disciplinary environmental team. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects spanning across the Manchester and London property, industrial and minerals sectors.

Responsibilities:
Consultant and Senior team member responsibilities will include;

• Co-ordination of EIA projects (including budget control)
• Project management and delivery of Environmental Statements
• Effective communication with multi-disciplinary specialists across the business
• Client liaison.

Senior responsibilities will also encompass;

• Contribution to business development
• Preparation of fee proposals and assistance with bids.

Qualifications / Experience:
The ideal candidates will possess:

• An appropriate degree (Engineering or Environmental Sciences)
• CEnv or IEMA preferred
• A successful track record of EIA Project Managements and ES delivery
• A thorough understanding of EIA, including best practice guidelines, planning processes and environmental assessment methods
• Excellent report writing and client liaison skills
• Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary consultancy environment.

Desirable skills include;

• Experience of coordinating EIA projects within the property sector
• A specific technical specialism –e.g. air quality, ecology, contaminated land.
