What you'll be doing

As Human Resources Officer you'll help us in providing a very special support to our business. Reporting direct to the Human Resources Manager, You'll help us to inspire and motivate our teams to "be one of a kind", and help them to reach their true potential.

You'll be responsible for day to day administration, supporting recruitment and selection, as well as assisting with payroll control, manpower planning and setting the overall hotel HR strategy at your own hotel as well as supporting your region. A key responsibility will be to support and deliver internal training programmes to our staff.

We know that each and every one of our team is individual, and so you'll also make sure that everyone has the opportunity for getting the training and development that they want, through delivery of on site courses, and also nominations on our wide range of group workshops and training courses. You'll also make sure that we reward and recognise our teams.

We like a practical and common sense approach, so no lengthy systems and procedures for us! You'll use your instinct to build a great rapport with the team and provide a totally professional HR support so we can deliver our distinctively memorable one of a kind service.

We will consider sponsorship towards CIPD for the right candidates.

What you'll need

To have a great personality and be genuine, approachable, attentive and instinctive.
To enjoy the buzz of being busy.
To be smart and well presented.
Experience in a similar position is useful, but not essential.
Experience of hospitality industry is useful.
Human Resources Management position within hospitality.
Ideally you'll have a degree, HND or NVQ level 4 or similar level of qualification.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent level of spoken and written English.
To be able to recognize and develop future stars.
