A leading developer and manufacturer of professional Audio/Video system products is seeking an experienced Hardware
Design Engineer to assist in the further development of state-of-the-art products for video display and streaming over IT
networks.

They are seeking a motivated and creative Engineer, keen to learn and contribute to the development of new products in
high performance Real Time video.

Essential Skills

• UK First Degree level (or equivalent) qualification in electronics or other relevant subject.
• Minimum of 2 years hardware design engineering experience.
• Embedded design experience including a working knowledge of low level hardware and systems.
• Familiarity with FPGA technology including knowledge of VHDL.
• Experience of high speed digital electronics.
• Experience of designing Microprocessor systems.
• Understanding of analogue electronics.
• Familiarity with CAE tools.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of video and computer graphics in an analogue and digital domain.
• Awareness of video compression and other video processing techniques.
• Familiarity with Altera FPGAs.
• Familiarity with Modelsim VHDL simulator.
• Knowledge of C/C++ and the ability to produce working code.
