Our award winning client has a vacancy for an Area Sales Manager to generate profitable sales from existing customers and to develop a designated area by way of new fabricators and existing business. To be successful you must have previous experience in the aluminium field, have good technical knowledge of commercial systems, high level of sales, and IT skills. In addition you will need a good understanding of finance and bookkeeping along with the ability to build close relationships with key customers. The area covers East Midlands and the M62 corridor.
To maximise turnover and profit to agreed budgets.
To service existing accounts effectively. To keep up to date and to close out any queries with invoices etc.
Ensure customer manuals and price lists are kept up to date.
Programme training for new and existing customers on product, manufacture, estimating and installation in conjunction with the training department.
Submit weekly and monthly reports on agreed dates.
To keep up to date with project enquiries.
Keep up to date on Company products, market trends and competitors at all times, supplying information requested by management within timescales.
