Inspectors required in Yeovil on contract for a leading aerospace company.

We are currently looking for Inspectors with apprenticeship papers or equivalent to work for a leading aerospace manufacturer in Yeovil, Somerset.

This will be a 6 month fixed term contract.

The ideal candidate will have a background in inspecting components to engineering drawing within a manufacturing environment preferably on machined components.

The ideal candidate will have:

• NVQ level 3 in Engineering Production or an equivalent time served Engineering Apprenticeship in a relevant discipline
• Conversant with Aerospace standard engineering drawings
• A flexible approach and the ability to work on own initiative as part of a small team are essential
• Willingness to work a flexible shift pattern

This is based on a military site and security clearance checks are in place. The selected candidates need to complete security documentation and apply for a basic disclosure, criminal records check.

Rates:
PAYE rates only as fixed term contract:
Based on a salary pro-rata of £24,637.62

£12.81 Days

£15.56 Shift

£18.76 Nights

£16.65 Overtime after 37 hours (any shift)

£19.21 Weekend rates if 5+ hours worked

The ideal candidate will be required to be flexible with their hours and to be paid PAYE.
