Java Developer – Contract
On behalf of our client, CPL NI Ltd are currently looking for a Java Programmer to join our client on an initial three month contract. Based in the heart of Belfast this is a great contract to get involved with.

The role:
Shape the strategic architecture for the application by defining solutions that are robust and in keeping with the technology roadmap Work with the business to refine requirements, develop and validate designs Develop the Reporting capability of the Platform using MS SQL Reporting and Analysis Services Lead development tasks relating to application bugs, enhancements and defect list Hands on to assist with the technical aspects of the delivery of projects as well as helping to lead and support the resolution of issues reported on the applications Understand the Compliance business needs and data requirements Work with the business to refine requirements, develop and validate designs Required Skills:
Has a thorough understanding and practical hands on experience of product functionality, monitor script as well as integration with MSSQL, JAVA and HTML Strong/fully proficient hands on development in Java Scripting, Java EE, Web Components and Stored Procedures Working knowledge of Weblogic/Websphere servers Strong/fully proficient hands on development in MSSQL 2008 – preferably with specific Analysis and Reporting Services, SSIS & SSRS. Strong/fully proficient hand on development skills in FIX/Proprietary Order and Execution messaging types CPL Contact
