Sand Resources has an excellent opportunity available for an experienced Java Developer for a large organisation based in Swindon.

The client is seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong Java technical skills and a proven track record of delivery to design and deliver production solutions in an agile or rapid prototyping environment.

Java Developer Role:

• Ensure the delivery and deployment of the client's Java architecture.
• Designing and delivering production solutions in an agile or rapid prototyping environment.
• Developing multiple interfaces to structures and linked data sources that will be exposed on the web.
• Analysing and reviewing designs and work requests to ensure best use of technology deployment.
• Provide designs for new projects which are consistent with the technical strategies of the client.
• Develop professional solutions using the defined product set and supporting the technology development frameworks.

Java Developer Skills:

• Must have experience in developing solutions equipped with following skills: Java 2 development including JSP, SPRING framework, Eclipse, MVC, JDBC, XML, JUNIT.
• Experience of delivering RESTful architectures.
• Experience in all software development life cycle phases.
• Experience of an agile software development methodology.
• Excellent web development skills using, HTML, CSS.
• Experience of OAUTH, RDF and Semantic web technologies, SOLR.
