Our client, the UK's biggest car manufacturer, requires experienced Electrical Wire Harness Engineers.
The objective of these roles will be to successfully deliver the design & development of electrical harness systems and related electrical components to company design standards.

This will include:
Management of Tier 1 suppliers.
Delivery of product systems to Quality, Cost/Budget and Timing requirements.
Managing in house and supplier validation of components.
Countermeasure determination with Test groups.
Status reporting to management.
The Project Engineer will offer electrical harness development expertise and a clear understanding of electrical theory and vehicle electrical systems, including circuit systems and harness layout. Additional knowledge of plastic/metal brackets/clips, connectors etc. will be assumed.
Experience of managing Tier 1 suppliers, resident onsite or externally, is essential.
These Contracts require relevant experience and are not suited to a recent graduate or graduate engineers with limited work experience.
Due to the nature of the role, some travel within the UK and overseas will be required. Applicants will therefore hold a Full UK Driving Licence and be free to travel outside the UK without restriction.
