My national client is delivering produce all around the UK on very tight schedules and low lead times.Reporting in to a Transport Manager, the purpose of this role is to plan the efficient loading and routing of delivery vehicles to achieve agreed customer requirements and load fill, it will involve the co-ordination of all transport movements through the depot
- No Fixed Runs etc
- Building loads and planning routes
- Dealing with Drivers, Customers, Warehousing, Workshop for Servicing Trucks and Trailers
Who we're looking for
Please only apply for this role if you can demonstrate strong working success of load planning and routing within a busy logistics environment. Any applications without this will not be progressed.
You will also be required to demonstrate the following;
- The ability to work well under intense pressure
- A proven track record of managing relationships within distribution
- Strong knowledge of transport planning, load planning, routing in TMS
- The desire to progress your career within a very successful
CPC not a necessity
