My client is one of the world’s biggest professional membership organisations within their sector. They have members across 80 countries and are the only company to have chartered status in their industry. They’re looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to cover a period of Maternity Cover and work on a range of print, display and online material.

The job:

• Assist the current Senior Designer with a range of original materials including publications, presentation graphics, adverts, promo literature and exhibition artwork
• Develop new concepts that will appeal to the target audience and adhere to the brand requirements
• To produce figures, tables and other artwork for online and offline publications
• To manage external agencies such as printers ensuring that work is produced on time, quality and budget.
• Carry out in-house photography work and liaise with external photographers on shoots
• Create online animations, banners and skyscrapers
• Design internet mini-sites working with the Web team where appropriate

The person

Essential (you must tick all of this criteria)

• Degree or equivalent in graphic design
• Commercial experience in graphic design
• Experience of graphics software including QuarkXpress, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Experience of using Mac OSX and PowerPoint
• Able to multi task and work on projects simultaneously to tight deadlines
• Able to liaise professionally with colleagues, members and suppliers
