This well established, highly regarded company specialises in the development of digital matrix products. This key role is for a software developer with a broad range of experience to work on the management software for their range of advanced electronics products. This management software currently works on a dedicated hardware platform running a Linux operating system and delivers a web style front end coupled together with a proprietary protocol based back end engine that controls the advanced hardware devices.
This position would suit a software programmer who has worked on the detailed aspects of database driven management interfaces for hardware devices but who also has an interest in web style technologies such as PHP, MySQL and Apache. The role will involve working closely with other software and hardware developers as well as with Product Management and Sales to perfect the user experience.
With a good degree, or equivalent, in a scientific or technology subject, you will be able to work well within teams of software and hardware engineers and be innovative and pro-active in your outlook.
