My client is a leading manufacturing company based in Fife. Operating globally they are renowned for their continued growth and success and are described as a global player in their industry. An exciting opportunity exists for a Design Engineer based at their state of the art facility in Aberdeen. Key responsibilities: Producing mechanical product designs as well as carrying out modifications to existing product designs for new/existing projects to meet customer demands Preparing design layouts in 2D and 3D packages Ensuring design work is verified by carrying out design calculations Liaising closely with the engineering department and presenting designs to ensure customer requirements are met Carrying out engineering changes to product drawings The successful candidate will: Be able to demonstrate a proven track record in a product design environment Degree qualified in a Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent experience considered Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred however others will be considered Ability to communicate at all levels in a business environment ensuring customer requirements are met This is an opportunity to join a company who continue to grow within their sector and are known as an employer of choice.
