The Role

Lead a professional and creative strategic marketing and communications function that supports and enhances the University's corporate strategy in the UK and internationally.

Further develop and strengthen the University's and subsidiary companies' reputation and public relations activities across a broad range of external stakeholders.

Develop and deliver internal communications for staff and students that are engaging and responsive and ensure effective two-way communication across the institution.

The Candidate

Experience of leading a successful marketing and communications function with a strong understanding of all channels from traditional to social media combined with the ability to manage the delivery of effective leading edge campaigns.

High levels of intellectual capacity with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build effective and sustainable relationships at all levels across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Innovative and entrepreneurial and able to demonstrate and deliver high levels of commercial acumen whilst upholding and promoting the vision, values and ambitions of Coventry University and its subsidiary companies.
