Your Profile
You are a qualified Patent Attorney (CPA/EPA) with proven experience in handling Biotechnology related portfolios either in private practice or in-house. Having already gained considerable Life Sciences patent drafting, prosecution and contentious experience, you are now looking to expand your horizons in a more commercially minded and consultative environment. You must be very commercially oriented, highly motivated and especially proactive in your professional outlook - always striving to deliver consistently high quality work and advice in a timely manner. Patent Attorneys from newly qualified to 5 years PQE would be desirable.

The Role
The role is a unique opportunity to harness commercial IP strategy by understanding the needs of a wide ranging client base, and working as part of a client management team to exploit IP and harness a competitive advantage for clients. You will draw upon all aspects of your IP career to date by offering portfolio management expertise, drafting, prosecutions & oppositions, licensing, opinion work and due diligence reviews. The variety of work is certainly challenging across a wide range of clients - from blue-chip global companies to SMEs, spin outs, academic and other research/government organisations.
