A global engineering services company require a Junior Software Developer to work with VPM, 3dcom and CAD tools such as CATIA V5 in Coventry paying between £25,000 - £35,000.

The Job
We want to hear from software developers with experience of the aforementioned tools or experience coding with C, C++ or FORTRAN and UNIX and or Windows operating systems.

The role is highly varied and will involve the Installation, configuration and customization of systems. All software will need to be thoroughly tested to ensure its quality. The successful Software developer will also work directly with customers to ensure delivery of systems is satisfactory and projects are delivered to tight deadlines. You will also have the opportunity to represent the company ant supplier and customer events.

Key skills:

• Strong academic background; a Computing or Engineering degree or relevant experience
• Strong Software Development skills
• Excellent communications to work closely with customers, other developers and project managers
• Good knowledge of the IT domain and presenting tools
• Leadership capabilities, self-motivated and team player
• Excellent problem solving skills
• European language skills are desirable; French, German, Italian

Experience with as many of the following technologies is desirable:

• VPM and 3Dcom systems development
• CAD tools such as CATIA V4 or V5
• Oracle, DB2
• UNIX/ Windows Operating systems
• C, C++, FORTRAN

Junior Software Developer is paying between £25,000 - £35,000 per annum.
