The Principal Client Delivery Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of major and significant client solutions from design in to operational service, interfacing in to the Project Manager and manages the delivery of all services in scope and in line with timescales, budget and internal quality standards while managing key stakeholders during the project lifecycle.
To be the single point of contact for the project manager regarding the implementation of significant and major Network solutions
Understand and manage the scope, timescales, budget and deliverables in order to build and maintain a project plan for the delivery of NSCS services
Ensures that comprehensive project, quality, and risk plans are prepared, maintained and actively managed;
Active management of the project team, developing and maintaining resource schedule, monitoring the deployment of individuals to ensure their effective contribution
Follow the internal client delivery framework and adhere to associated quality standards
Accurate and timely management of budget as per business case including financial estimation
Ensures that realistic estimates of costs, timescales and resource requirements are agreed, monitoring progress against these criteria, taking corrective action as necessary
Leadership of the internal NSCS technical delivery resources that make up the NSCS delivery team
Manage and report on project status throughout the lifecycle both internally to NSCS and externally to other Atos or client parties
Delivery Excellence Reporting, reports internally on delivery status, key performance indicators, etc; in a consistent, timely and accurate manner
Manage and report on risks and issues
Identifies issues and is able to articulate the impact on the project in terms of time, cost and quality
Ensures that any strategic problems are identified at the earliest opportunity, highlighted internally and to the Project Manager
Actively engage with the Project Manager and the business case to challenge solutions to ensure they are fit for purpose
Ensures that projects are formally closed and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are captured and actioned, producing appropriate documentation to support these processes.
Job Requirements
Demonstrable experience of full lifecycle leadership of significant or major client delivery solutions in networks, security or voice technologies;
Proven project management and leadership skills at the highest levels and in a wide variety of contexts
Prince 2 methodology (Practitioner level)
ITIL v3 (good understanding or Foundation qualified)
Understands and has demonstrated the use of methods and techniques for the assessment and management of risk
Proven record of preparing, controlling and monitoring budgets
Is able to understand, explain and present complex technical ideas and business cases to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels up to the highest in a persuasive and convincing manner
Able to direct, support and mentor team members
Able to manage resources to optimize efficiency
Able to use a process framework, analytical tools and reporting to direct, monitor and evaluate progress and change
Commands respect for knowledge, experience and excellence within the specific area of Project Implementation Methods
Is flexible in the application of knowledge appreciating the variation in Projects and Organisational culture which may give rise to alternative approaches
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
Ability to build relationships, negotiate and influence with key stakeholders;
Able to plan, execute and monitor delivery for the entire project team
