Role Description
- The Associate Producer responsibility will be: 75% Publishing and 25% Customer Service.
Publishing Responsibilities
The key roles
Provide practical assistance for both the Production and Marketing staff
Gameplay testing and providing feedback and suggestions to Producers
Central point of contact between Publishing, Marketing and PR for builds and assets, collecting , storing and distributing.
Maintain the customer support
Medium term aim
To develop the role further to be able to oversee and implement the full deployment of builds and assets onto the Appstore and other platforms allowing producers to concentrate on game and feature development.
Long term aim
To progress to a full time producer role leaving behind structures and processes that can be easily adopted by junior staff and interns
Publishing Assistance
Assist the publishing team in the preparation of mobile games for deployment to the various stores for the iOS Android and Windows platforms. This requires a disciplined and meticulous attention to detail. Eventually leading to be able to take responsibility to oversee the full deployment of assets and builds prior to release.
Provide game testing feedback on games being able to compile accurate and clear comments within structured documents. Also to be able to express and display knowledge of other similar products on the market.
Provide basic QA testing requiring accurate observations and recording of abnormalities and faults and making constructive comments about any design improvements.
Marketing Assistance
Retrieve, process and distribute associated assets for stores, websites and Crystal network. This requires contact numerous developers, accurate records tracking the process and communication to enable tracking. This will also involve assisting the Marketing team in preparation of builds and assets for promotional events.
Customer Service Responsibilities
Manage customer service inquiries, train and supervise interns to manage this position.
Inform team of general types of questions that we're receiving from consumers
Skills and Experience Required
Be a gaming enthusiast (preferably mobile gaming)
Good communication skills
Understand how to use Excel, Word and PowerPoint efficiently for organizing information so that it can be presented it in a clear, concise manner.
Occasional basic use of Photoshop to make adjustments and additions to screen images.
