Experienced Shipping Clerk - Exports
We are recruiting for a experienced Shipping Clerk for the Exports Department. Based in Liverpool, we are one of the largest container shipping companies in the UK.
Full-time, 12 month fixed term contract.
In order to qualify for this position, it is essential you have experience within the shipping industry. You will be experienced in a similar role and have knowledge of bills of ladings and invoices.
Duties will include:
- Update vessel information
- Handling and dispatch of Bills Of Lading in accordance with accounts, customer / local & global requirements
- Handling and dispatch of certificates and other original documents
- Communication internally and externally with customers and other departments / agencies
- Handling of manifest correctors
- Verify and add local fees and create proforma invoice
- Completion of LOI for lost original bills of lading
- Completion of COD requirements
- Completion and sending of loading confirmation to customers
- Invoice Query resolution
- Respond to customer enquires
