We are recruiting for a experienced Shipping Clerk for the Exports Department. Based in Liverpool, we are one of the largest container shipping companies in the UK.
Full-time, 12 month fixed term contract.
In order to qualify for this position, it is essential you have experience within the shipping industry. You will be experienced in a similar role and have knowledge of bills of ladings and invoices.
Duties will include:
Update vessel information
Handling and dispatch of Bills Of Lading in accordance with accounts, customer / local & global requirements
Handling and dispatch of certificates and other original documents
Communication internally and externally with customers and other departments / agencies
Handling of manifest correctors
Verify and add local fees and create proforma invoice
Completion of LOI for lost original bills of lading
Completion of COD requirements
Completion and sending of loading confirmation to customers
Invoice Query resolution
Respond to customer enquires
