Client Reporting Overview:
Client Reporting (CR) is the provider of account and fund information to all clients, custodian banks, trustee banks and consultants. Reporting information includes fund characteristics, underlying manager analytics, transaction activity, and fund performance. CR also supports the BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A. reporting group and responds to information requests from internal and external clients.
The role being recruited will involve producing and distributing client reporting, managing client queries and liaising across multiple internal departments to resolve service issues.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Highly complex data management and reporting; creating and updating unique and targeted graphs, tables, charts and reports for clients and prospective clients using various software applications
- Own client service and client query management for assigned Institutional clients, consultants and third party administrators
- Understand end to end client reporting process and continually champion the sharing of knowledge across teams and functions
- Drive cross training efforts on all CR functions
- Train new reporting specialists in all basic functions of position requirements. Ensure complete knowledge transfer of all operational and compliance procedures
- Build and maintain relations with internal stakeholders in support of client service and building a future model to support new and evolving activity
- Work with A&T on system developments, carry out UAT and roll out enhancements to broader team
- Constantly evaluate systems, processes and procedures for inefficiencies, and make recommendations for improvement, ensuring that all reasonable measures are taken to mitigate operational risk

Knowledge/Experience:
- BS/BA in business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field
- Keen interest in investment products and 3+ years financial services experience, ideally in investment management
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (especially Excel) and an aptitude for learning new applications
- Previous query handling, client service experience a distinct advantage
- Previous client reporting, NAV production and performance experience a distinct advantage
